Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
Just lay back and relax on the beach. What a perfect way to take a break from the parks. There are six quiet pools, one in each village. There is also a fort style pool with several slides for the kids. This resort is our all time favorite! You can even chill on the beach around 9pm and see the EPCOT Illuminations Fireworks! The beds are very comfy and the castmembers were some of the most pleasant that we have encountered. We were even able to leave the kids with a castmember to watch a movie for an hour one night. The theme is adorable and it is perfect for a romantic getaway. And for extra fun, you can stay in on of the pirate rooms! Yo Ho!

There are only a few choices for dining at the Caribbean, but food court is amazing.
We usually eat in the parks, but after tasting the food at the Old Port Royale, we ate a meal there each day. The roast beef cheese steak sandwiches are the best, and the handmade Caribbean chips were light and tasty! The turkey sandwich was so big that it took two people to eat it. They also serve savory Caribbean meals in the evening that could outdo some expensive dining options. The kids enjoyed their tenders, pizza, hot dogs, burgers, and self served ice cream. There is plenty of seating, and a toppings bar with almost anything you could think of. We give this resort and the food 1.8 ears out of 2. The only reason we felt they were not perfect was the lack of elevators. There are not many stairs to the second floor, but when you walk 10 miles a day in the park it seems like a lot.
All Dining options accept The Dining Plan
A few examples from the Menu at Old Port Royale: (prices as of March 2014)
Dining plan not excepted at any Walt Disney World Bars
Banana Cabana Bar was very relaxing. It is located right next to the big fort pool and has many options to choose from. The staff was very polite, and the do not cheat you on your drinks. The bar is a nice place to sit while the kids enjoy their nightly movie(very near by). We also could see part of EPCOT's Illuminations firework show from this area.

Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila Grand Margarita-$9.75
Mango Margarita(yummy!)- $11
Domestic Beer 16 oz- $6.25
